Role Summary:
As a Commercial Account Handler, you will play a key role in supporting Account Executives, managing client portfolios, and delivering exceptional service across a range of insurance products. This position offers the opportunity to strengthen client relationships, develop market knowledge, and progress within a supportive and growing business.
Key Responsibilities:
• Client Management: Respond promptly to queries and build lasting relationships, ensuring tailored cover that meets client needs.
• Policy Administration: Manage new business, renewals, endorsements, and cancellations with accuracy and efficiency.
• Insurer Negotiation: Liaise with insurers to secure favourable terms and negotiate on behalf of clients.
• Compliance: Ensure adherence to FCA regulations and stay up to date with market developments.
• Collaboration: Work closely with Account Executives and colleagues to deliver seamless service and share best practice.
Requirements:
• Previous experience in an Account Handler role within insurance.
• Strong knowledge of commercial insurance products and markets.
• Understanding of FCA compliance and regulatory standards.
• Proficiency with insurance platforms (Acturis knowledge desirable).
• ACII qualification (or willingness to work towards) is advantageous.
