Commercial Account Handler – Sales & Service£35,000 - £45,000 (DOE) + bonusOffice Based – Newcastle under LymeMonday – Friday 9am – 5pm (can be flexible) We’re looking for a personable, detail-focused Commercial Account Handler to join the team. In this role, you’ll be the trusted advisor to existing clients - offering expert insurance advice, identifying opportunities to enhance their cover, and making sure they receive the highest standard of service. What you’ll be doing
- Building strong, long-term client relationships
- Advising on insurance needs and spotting gaps in cover
- Introducing new products to existing clients where they add value
- Negotiating with insurers to secure the best terms
- Supporting clients with claims, alongside the wider team
- Using systems like Acturis, Excel, and Outlook to manage client accounts efficiently
- Proactively seeking ways to improve processes and client experience
What you’ll bring
- Experience in commercial insurance (Property, Liability, Professional Indemnity)
- Strong communication and influencing skills
- A proactive, organised, and client-first mindset
- Confidence in relationship management and negotiation
- Knowledge of FCA compliance and insurance market appetite
