- Handle renewals, mid-term adjustments (MTAs), and new business enquiries
- Understand client risk exposures and tailor insurance solutions accordingly
- Identify and act on cross-selling opportunities and potential gaps in cover
- Maintain strong relationships with insurers, negotiating terms and handling queries
- Ensure records are accurate and compliant with company standards
- Support clients through claims processes, referring to internal specialists when needed
- Manage aged debtors and advise on premium finance options where appropriate
Ideal Candidate Profile
- Previous experience in a Commercial Insurance Account Handler role (1–2+ years preferred)
- Confident managing a portfolio of commercial clients
- Strong knowledge of commercial insurance products and processes
- Excellent communication, attention to detail, and client service skills
- Progress towards CII qualifications is advantageous but not essential
