As the Turning Cell Lead, your role will encompass a variety of responsibilities including:

• Preparing, programming, setting, and operating CNC machines for turning and drilling operations.
• Reading and interpreting engineering drawings to understand specifications and desired outcomes.
• Translating instructions into computer programmes to ensure machinery functions correctly.
• Supervising production cycles while making necessary adjustments to maintain quality and efficiency.
• Ensuring compliance with Health and Safety regulations and ISO 9001 standards.

The ideal candidate will possess:

• An engineering apprenticeship (desirable).
• Proven experience as a CNC turning operator/setter/programmer.
• Proficiency in operating workshop machinery, tooling, and precision measuring equipment.
• Strong mechanical aptitude coupled with good mathematical skills.
• A keen eye for detail and effective communication skills.
