CNC Turner Programmer - Adept Resourcing Commercial & Engineering : Job Details

Adept are excited to be working with a well established busy manufacturer based in Sheffield who specialise in subcontract work; supplying into Aerospace, Mining and Transportation industries.

Our client are looking to recruit an experienced CNC Machinist to join the team.

The successful applicant must have experience in programming a CNC machine using FANUC.

What's on offer?

• £17 per hour on a day shift
• 7am till 4pm Mon to Thurs, Fri 7am till 12 (39hrs).
• 23 days holiday plus stats

Duties & Responsibilities

• Proven experience in CNC Machining of machined products
• Set up, operate, and program CNC machines with Fanuc controls to produce high-precision components.
• Use your programming skills to enhance machining processes and increase efficiency.
• Ability to programme using FANUC
• Ability to read and interpret mechanical documents and drawings.
• Mechanical aptitude and good math skills
• A keen eye for detail and results-driven approach
• Filling out required paperwork.
• Complying with standards of safety, company policy, and legal regulations that apply to the product.
• Communicating with the rest of the Quality Control (QC) department so they become aware of any defects in the product and how to repair them.
• Have a strong presence on within the production areas and carry out in process checks on a routine basis.
• Reading engineering schematics and comparing them with the finished product
• Be able to work alone as well as in a team.
