CNC Turner

We are working with a leading aerospace manufacturer based in Fareham, well known for producing high-precision components for some of the most demanding sectors in engineering.

Due to continued growth and increased workload, they are looking to recruit a skilled CNC Turner to join their experienced machining team.

Key Responsibilities:

Set up and operate CNC turning centres, including multi-axis and live tooling machines

Read and interpret complex aerospace engineering drawings and specifications

Machine components to tight tolerances and high surface finish standards

Adjust tooling, offsets, speeds, and feeds to optimise machining performance

Perform routine maintenance and cleaning of machines and tools.

Skills and Experience:

Proven CNC turning experience in a precision engineering or aerospace environment

Confident in setting, operating, and adjusting CNC turning machines

Strong ability to read and work from detailed engineering drawings

Desirable:

Experience with multi-axis or live tooling CNC lathes

Background in aerospace or high-precision component manufacturing

Familiarity with lean manufacturing principles and 5S

Pay: £17.52 – £18.09 per hour + Uplift for double days

Working Hours:

Early Shift: 6:00 am – 2:00 pm (Monday to Thursday) / 6:00 am – 1:30 pm (Friday)

Late Shift: 2:00 pm – 11:45 pm (Monday to Thursday)

Core Day Shift: 7:30 am – 4:15 pm (Monday to Thursday) / 7:30 am – 11:30 am (Friday)
