CNC Machinist – Hurco Machining Centre

Location: Cradley Heath, Birmingham

Hours: Monday–Thursday 8:00–16:30, Friday 8:00–16:00

Pay: Top earners £18.50–£19.00/hour overtime at time &

Pay frequency: Weekly

We’re looking for a skilled CNC Machinist to join our busy and friendly workshop in Cradley Heath, Birmingham. You’ll be working on Hurco CNC milling machines with a WinMax controller, producing high-quality work for a range of projects.

What you’ll be doing:

• Programming simple jobs at the console using drawings (provided by Steve)
• Operating Hurco machining centres
• Using Fusion 360 software for more complex jobs (training provided if needed)
• Ensuring accuracy and quality in all work produced
• Working as part of a small, supportive team

About you:

• Experience operating CNC milling machines (Hurco/WinMax preferred)
• Ability to program simple parts by hand from technical drawings
• Familiarity with Fusion 360 software is an advantage, but full training given
• Good eye for detail and commitment to quality
• Able to work independently and as part of a team
