CNC Setter - 5 Axis Milling Required!

Our client is a market-leading manufacturer of precision components for the aerospace, medical, electronics and wider engineering sectors.

On behalf of our client, we are looking to recruit an experience CNC Setter to join their team.

Package:

• £30,000 - £35,000 a year (DOE)
• Company Pension
• Parking
• 06:30am - 17:00pm Monday - Thursday

CNC Setter - Responsibilities:

• Set and operate assigned machines safely and efficiently, ensuring precision and quality
• Handover to operators clearly and support them with technical help when needed
• Perform first-off and in-process checks using measuring tools and equipment
• Carry out basic maintenance and keep the work area clean and organised; report issues to the Team Leader
• Clean, deburr, and package parts to customer specifications when required
• Take on other tasks as requested by the Team Leader

CNC Setter - Requirements:

• Experience setting CNC 5, 4 or 2+3 axis.
• Knowledge of Heidenhain (preferred), or Haas controls
• Able to read and understand technical drawings
• Skilled in using gauges and inspection tools
• Experience with Work holding, tool holding, and cutting tools
