We're recruiting on behalf of a client who are looking for a CNC Operator to join their team at their manufacturing facility based in Norwich.About the RoleAs a CNC Operator, you will be responsible for operating and programming CNC extrusion machining, producing aluminium extrusions for custom transportation cases and related products. You will work closely with design engineers to resolve any product issues or queries and collaborate with production staff to ensure timely completion of work.Key Responsibilities
- Operate and program the extrusion machining centre using proprietary software, optimising processes to minimise waste and maximise machine efficiency while maintaining high-quality standards.
- Assist with job rotation within the machining/finishing department and operate all CAD/CAM-based machines as needed.
- Work closely with design engineers to resolve any product issues or queries.
- Coordinate with department leaders and production staff to ensure timely completion of work and report material/tooling shortages.
- Support ongoing machine maintenance and ensure tools and work spaces are kept clean and organised.
- Comply with health and safety procedures at all times, including the correct use of PPE.

- Understanding of basic engineering maths and business concepts.
