CNC Operator

Location: Newcastle Upon Tyne

Salary: DOE

Company: A well-established leading signage company.

Role: Our client is currently looking for a CNC operator to join their growing team in Newcastle Upon Tyne

This role will require someone with some experience in the signage industry, operating a CNC router and fibre laser.

• You will be responsible for operating our Axyz 6014 4m x 2m router
• Using Artcam software cutting a wide range of materials from Aluminum to MDF
• You will also be using our brand new 3m x 1.5m fibre laser machine.
• Follow all company procedures
• Take responsibility for your own and others’ health and safety when working
• Be flexible with start and finish times to enable the company to deliver jobs effectively
• Work as part of a team to deliver on set targets

Requirements:

• Knowledge / experience of working within in the sign industry
• Experience operating a CNC machine
• You will need a positive attitude for hands on work
• A strong desire to work within a team and to be able to assist as and when required
• Self-motivated and driven individual
• CSCS Card, Safety Passport, Pasma and IPAF would be an advantage
• Be flexible when it comes to working hours
• Full driving license
