CNC Miller - Up to £20 p/h - Lee-on-the-Solent - Day Shift?? Location: Lee-on-the-Solent?? Rate: Up to £20 per hour (DOE)? Hours: 39 per week?? Shift: Days - Flexible start between 6:00am-9:00am, with a 12pm finish on FridaysAbout the Company:Shorterm Group are working with a well-established subcontract precision engineering business based in Lee-on-the-Solent. Supplying into the aerospace and oil & gas sectors, they are continuing to expand due to sustained growth and a strong order book.The OpportunityThey are seeking an experienced CNC Miller to join their team on a permanent, full-time basis. This is a varied role producing small batch and one-off, high-precision components to tight tolerances, using modern CNC machinery in a clean and well-equipped workshop.What You'll Be Doing- Setting and operating 5 axis CNC milling machines- Programming experience is a big plus (Mazatrol preferred, though Fanuc or Heidenhain will also be considered)- Working to tight aerospace tolerances and exacting standards- Interpreting and working from detailed engineering drawings- Producing high-quality work in a fast-paced subcontract environmentWhat They're Looking For- Solid background in CNC milling (setting/operating essential, programming desirable)- Confidence working to aerospace tolerances- Ability to read and understand complex technical drawings- Experience on 5 axis machinery- Experience in a precision engineering/subcontract environment is highly advantageousWhat's on Offer- Competitive hourly rate of up to £20 per hour (DOE)- Flexible start times (6am-9am)- Early finish on Fridays (12pm)- Secure, permanent position in a growing company with excellent long-term prospects??
