Elevation Recruitment Group are working on behalf of a leading manufacturing business to recruit a CNC Milling Machinist for their growing team at their site in Wakefield.

CNC MillerLocation: WakefieldSalary: £35,000 – £38,000 per annumHours: Day shifts with flexible working options, including the possibility of a 4-day week. Overtime available on Fridays.

The Role

In this role you will take responsibility for the machining of precision components from start to finish. Typical duties will include:

• Programming and running CNC milling machines to produce components to specification
• Interpreting engineering drawings and working to exact tolerances
• Performing regular checks on machinery, tooling, and equipment
• Carrying out in-process inspection and recording results to quality standards
• Identifying and reporting any issues with parts or processes
• Liaising with quality inspectors and the engineering team to resolve queries
• Maintaining safe working practices in line with company policies

Requirements

We are keen to speak with CNC Millers who can demonstrate:

• Experience setting and programming CNC milling machines
• A strong background in reading technical drawings and specifications
• Confident use of precision measuring equipment
• Good problem-solving skills and attention to detail
• The ability to work independently as well as part of a wider team
• A focus on quality and efficiency in daily output
