CNC Miller - Elevation Recruitment Group : Job Details

Elevation Recruitment Group are working with a High Precision Manufacturer based in Sheffield. The client has a requirement for a CNC Miller to join their team working days only, 4 days per week.

Salary: £36,200

Hours: Monday to Thursday 6.00am till 4.15pm

Overtime: Friday – paid at 1.33, Saturday paid at 1.5, Sunday paid at double time.

Our client is looking for a CNC Miller who can work well in a team coupled with the ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment. 

Duties and Responsibilities of the CNC Miller:

• Setting and programming of various CNC Machines. ( DMG - DMF360 , DMG - NLX3000)
• Read and interpret engineering drawings (both metric and imperial)
• Create, download, edit, archive, read and interpret CNC programs
• Ability to understand CADCAM systems
• Demonstrate knowledge of appropriate tooling and ability to select the correct speeds and feeds
• Inspection and recording of all relevant dimensions in accordance to the engineering drawing and documentation pack
• Completion of all inspection documentation
• Demonstrate engagement with other Team Members
• Conduct daily preventive maintenance checks on machinery and equipment
• Flexibility to work shifts and overtime when required
