CNC Machinist

Day-to-day of the role:
- Set and operate CNC mills or lathes to produce precision aerospace parts.
- Work from detailed drawings to achieve tight tolerances.
- Conduct in-process inspections using micrometers and gauges.
- Make tooling adjustments and offset changes to ensure optimal machine performance.
- As an experienced CNC Machinist, contribute to team knowledge sharing and support the development of less experienced colleagues.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a CNC Machinist in a precision engineering environment.
- Proficient in setting and operating CNC lathes and mills, preferably with Fanuc/Mazatrol controls.
- Ability to read and interpret complex engineering drawings.
- Skilled in using precision measuring instruments such as micrometers and gauges.
- A keen eye for detail and commitment to achieving high-quality standards.
- Interest and capability to progress into CNC programming.
