Role: MH Clinical Psychologist

Grade: Band 8a (will consider 7 and up)

Location: Within the MH community Hospitals in Taunton and Yeovil, Somerset

Hours: Full Time - more info below

Preferred start date: ASAP (approx. 6 months)

Notes: FT - Experience working with service users, families and multidisciplinary staff teams on adult acute wards and with Home Treatment (or crisis) teams, or with Psychiatric Liaison Teams.

Experience of undertaking assessments, formulation, psychological interventions; and of consulting to teams, providing team formulations and reflective practice. Good knowledge of community NHS and other services in order to make appropriate referrals.

Experience of providing supervision for Assistant Psychologists, and trainee psychologists.

Experience of complex risk assessments and working with teams to make management plans.

Experience of working across team interfaces, and of supporting teams to think together.
