Clinical Negligence Solicitor – Reading (Hybrid)

All Partners in the team are acknowledged as leading individuals in the field. The team are notably experienced in high value, legally complex maximum severity cases

The team are now looking for a Clinical Negligence Solicitor to join their leading, highly regarded team in Reading. This is an exciting opportunity to work on complex, high-value claims while managing your own caseload independently.

About the Role

You will assist senior team members on cases involving cerebral palsy, birth injury, cauda equina syndrome, and other serious conditions, while running your own claimant clinical negligence matters. Cases typically start from £50,000 and involve a wide range of medical treatment issues.

The firm operate a hybrid working model: you would be expected in the Reading office at least 2 days per week, with the remainder of the week remote.

What We’re Looking For

  • 2–5 years PQE with a strong background in Clinical Negligence
  • Experience at a firm known for high-quality Clinical Negligence work
  • Ability to manage lower-to-mid-value cases independently
  • Experience or interest in cerebral palsy claims and quantum work desirable

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage your own caseload of Clinical Negligence claims (typically £50k+)
  • Support partners with complex, high-value birth injury and cauda equina cases
  • Engage with medical experts and counsel to develop evidence on liability and quantum
  • Work collaboratively within a supportive, well-resourced team
  • Contribute to the growth and development of the Clinical Negligence practice
