We are currently working in partnership with a national law firm renowned for its complex litigation work and people-first culture. As their Clinical Negligence team continues to grow, they are seeking an ambitious Paralegal to support their high-value claims team in Liverpool or Manchester.
The Role:
This is an exciting opportunity for a detail-oriented paralegal with experience in clinical negligence or serious injury to join a specialist team handling complex and rewarding work. You will assist solicitors on a caseload of multi-track and high-value clinical negligence matters and play a key role in case progression.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist fee earners with managing clinical negligence files, from initial instruction through to settlement
- Draft legal documents, witness statements, instructions to counsel, and court bundles
- Conduct legal research and review medical records and expert reports
- Liaise with clients, counsel, medical experts, and third parties
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date case management records
Requirements:
- Previous experience as a paralegal in clinical negligence, personal injury, or a similar litigation area
- Strong legal drafting, research, and communication skills
- Attention to detail and ability to manage deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- A law degree or equivalent qualification (LPC or SQE-preferred but not essential)
- Passion for working within complex and meaningful claimant work
