Client Relations Associate

Job Type: Full-time

Schedule: Monday to Friday

Location: Farnham, Surrey. Reliably commute with hybrid work from home model.

Are you passionate about building strong, long-lasting client relationships and driving business growth? Do you thrive in a dynamic environment where you can make a significant impact? If so, we have the perfect opportunity for you.

The client:

Our client are a service-based company that manufactures flexible medical devices and components, at their own accredited facilities in the UK and USA.

The role:

We are seeking a capable Client Relations Associate with a passion for long-term relationship building and strategic client development. In this role, each client is a project - evolving through phases of onboarding, contract fulfilment and ongoing collaboration. You'll play a pivotal role in our compact yet dynamic client management team, nurturing accounts through a project-style lifecycle to maximize value, continuity, and satisfaction.

This is an exciting opportunity to join a close-knit team where you'll have the autonomy to drive results, coordinate with internal departments, and make a tangible impact on business growth.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain strong, consultative relationships with global clients, serving as their primary point of contact throughout the lifecycle of their engagement with us.
  • Manage client accounts with a project-style approach: tracking deliverables, timelines, spend, risk, and opportunities for expansion.
  • Build new touchpoints across client organizations to deepen engagement and increase account value (share of wallet).
  • Understand and record client needs and objectives, translating them into actionable project scopes and upsell opportunities.
  • Prepare and deliver persuasive presentations and proposals, effectively communicating the value of the organisation’s services in alignment with client strategy.
  • Conduct regular strategic account reviews to assess performance, gather feedback, and plan for future phases.
  • Collaborate with internal teams including Projects, Operations, and Commercial to ensure seamless client delivery and proactive risk mitigation.
  • Monitor industry trends, market dynamics, and competitor activity, offering insights that enhance positioning and client value.
  • Drive account profitability through pricing strategy, volume forecasting, and EBITDA-enhancing initiatives. Lead discussions on MOQs, raw material dependencies, and scaling timelines.

Skills we are looking for:

  • Proven experience in client relations, account/project management, or customer success, ideally within medical devices, life sciences, or other regulated B2B sectors.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills - capable of working with stakeholders at all levels, internally and externally.
  • Commercial awareness and confidence in navigating pricing, margin improvement, and long-term client value discussions.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple long-term accounts like evolving projects - balancing short-term wins with long-term growth.
  • Experience using CRM systems for pipeline management, reporting, and relationship tracking.
  • Highly organized with strong attention to detail and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
  • Comfortable with ambiguity, change, and managing complex client environments with multiple moving parts.

Why Join our Client:

  • Be a key part of a growing business where clients are long-term partners, not just transactions.
  • Enjoy the autonomy to make strategic decisions and work cross-functionally to deliver real impact.
  • Travel internationally to meet clients and represent us at global tradeshows.
  • Thrive in a supportive environment that invests in your development, with training, mentorship, and career growth opportunities.

What is in it for you?

  • Competitive Annual Salary
  • GBS profit sharing scheme (commences after 6 months successful probation)
  • Holidays: 24 days birthday bank holidays
  • Pension scheme
  • Dental Cover
  • Flexitime
  • Hybrid working model

Our client is an equal opportunity employer that values diversity and inclusiveness in the workplace.
