A 12 month fixed term opportunity has arisen for a Client Onboarding Associate to join a London based Global Advisory onboarding team offering direct contact with transaction team members to facilitate the onboarding of new clients and carry out periodic client reviews. Maternity Cover – Client Onboarding Associate (September 2025 – August 2026) Location: London | Sector: Global Advisory | Contract: 12 month FTC Key responsibilities: • Sourcing publicly available documents from global corporate registries, regulatory and stock exchange websites, paid-for databases, and other open-sources for the MLDD file. • Where documents are not publicly available, compiling a list of documents for the transaction team to request from the potential client. • Reviewing and verifying documents received from the potential client or their legal representatives. • Screening client entities and their controllers and beneficial owners against sanctions and Politically Exposed Persons lists using the Worldcheck database. • Creating a structured MLDD or KYC file that confirms the existence, structure, ownership and control of the potential client and identifies any high-risk factors. • Completing a client risk assessment of the client. • Assisting the transaction teams with completion of sections of the memorandum to the New Client Acceptance Committee that relate to reputational issues, Directors, Beneficial Ownership, and Politically Exposed Persons • Conducting periodic client reviews as and when required. • Reviewing the results of ongoing monitoring alerts What we’re looking for: • Strong general research skills • Wealth check and sanction screening experience • Knowledge of private equity and trusts • Background in research and compliance • European language skills (desirable)
