Client Manager - Olivia Ruella Limited : Job Details

A tremendously exciting opportunity to join this growing and long-established independent firm of accountants based in Mid-Kent as a client manager.

The firm is well known in the local area and is currently growing organically at a rate of 10% per year. They service a broad range of clients in the Kent and London area.

They represent a full selection of clients ranging from the small sole trader right through to large and more complex group company structures and UHNWI’s.

As a client manager and part of the senior leadership team, your day-to-day duties will include the following:

• Responsible for your own portfolio of clients, reporting to the Partners.
• Undertaking and reviewing compliance tasks for your clients, including preparation of accounts, corporation tax returns, and personal tax returns.
• Reviewing the work of more junior staff members and assisting them with their development.
• Undertaking and reviewing bookkeeping, VAT returns and management accounts for clients using cloud software.
• Acting as the first point of call for clients on day-to-day queries and supporting the Partners with more complex tax or planning tasks.

What about you?

• You will be ACA/ACCA qualified, or equivalent with a career background and strength within accounts and tax, and all-around general accountancy practice service delivery to wide-ranging sole trade, partnership and limited company clients, developed within an accountancy practice environment.
• You will have at least 5 years of experience within practice.
• Experience in IRIS, Xero, Sage or QuickBooks would be advantageous.
