Clearwater Enfusion Consultant (Fixed Income & Equity)

Location: City of London

Rate: £600-700 outside of IR35

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Clearwater Enfusion Consultant with a strong background in Fixed Income and Equity instruments. This role is ideal for a finance technology professional with hands-on experience implementing and integrating Clearwater Analytics and/or Enfusion platforms within asset management, hedge fund, or institutional investment environments. The consultant will work closely with cross-functional teams to streamline data workflows, improve portfolio management processes, and ensure accurate investment accounting and reporting.

Key Responsibilities:

Serve as a subject matter expert in Clearwater and/or Enfusion system implementations, configurations, and integrations.

Lead or support the onboarding of Fixed Income and Equity portfolios, including security setup, pricing, and data validation.

Analyze current-state data and reporting workflows and recommend best practices leveraging Clearwater or Enfusion capabilities.

Collaborate with portfolio managers, operations teams, and IT to gather requirements and deliver platform configurations tailored to business needs.

Ensure data integrity between portfolio management systems, custodians, and third-party vendors.

Support daily reconciliation, performance, risk, and compliance reporting.

Create documentation, process maps, and user guides for ongoing operational support.

Provide training and knowledge transfer to internal users and stakeholders.

Troubleshoot issues related to portfolio data, system configuration, and interface errors.

Required Qualifications:

5+ years of experience in investment operations, financial technology, or portfolio systems consulting.

Strong hands-on experience with Clearwater Analytics, Enfusion, or both.

Solid understanding of Fixed Income (e.g., bonds, treasuries, MBS, ABS) and Equity instruments (e.g., common stock, ETFs, options).

Familiarity with investment lifecycle processes including trade capture, settlement, reconciliation, and reporting.

Experience working with market data providers (e.g., Bloomberg, ICE, Refinitiv) and custodians.

Proficient in Excel; experience with SQL or Python a plus.

Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.

Ability to work independently in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.

Preferred Qualifications:

Prior experience with implementation projects or migrations involving Clearwater or Enfusion.

Exposure to other portfolio or risk systems (e.g., Aladdin, Charles River, SimCorp, Geneva).

Knowledge of accounting principles (GAAP, IFRS) as applied to investment portfolios.
