Cleaner

• Job Type: Full-time or Part-time
• Location: Newton Abbot and surrounding areas
• Hours: Monday to Friday, start times between 7:00-7:30 AM, finish times between 2:30-3:00 PM (flexible)
• Contract: Initially temporary, with potential for permanent position

We are currently seeking one full-time or two part-time Cleaners to join our team, providing cleaning services to both residential and commercial properties in Newton Abbot and the surrounding areas. This role is initially on a temporary basis, with the possibility of becoming permanent for the right candidate.

Day-to-Day Responsibilities:

• Perform general cleaning duties in residential and commercial properties, including but not limited to vacuuming, dusting, mopping, and surface cleaning.
• Ensure all rooms are cared for and inspected according to standards.
• Protect equipment and make sure there are no inadequacies.
• Notify superiors on any damages, deficits, and disturbances.
• Deal with reasonable complaints/requests with professionalism and patience.
• Check stocking levels of all consumables and replace when appropriate.
• Adhere to rules regarding health and safety and be aware of any company-related practices.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Proven experience as a cleaner or housekeeper.
• Ability to work with little supervision and maintain a high level of performance.
• Customer-oriented and friendly.
• Prioritisation and time management skills.
• Working quickly without compromising quality.
