Class Teacher - Tradewind Recruitment : Job Details

Tradewind Recruitment are seeking to appoint a passionate and dedicated Reception Teacher on behalf of a nurturing and inclusive 1-form entry primary school located in the London Borough of Croydon. This is a part-time role, working Wednesday to Friday, starting after the Easter holidays and continuing through to July 2025.

This school is seeking a teacher with a strong understanding of the EYFS curriculum, who is committed to providing a safe, creative, and stimulating learning environment. Planning is shared and co-planned with the early years team to ensure consistency and collaboration.

• Prepare and deliver engaging EYFS lessons

• Implement effective and age-appropriate behaviour management strategies

• Collaborate with the EYFS team and Classroom TA to ensure inclusive and impactful learning

• Adapt learning activities to meet the diverse needs of all children

• Contribute to planning and preparation alongside the teacher working Monday-Tuesday

• Take part in school events and relevant meetings as required

• UK-recognised Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)

• Strong knowledge and understanding of the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS)

• A nurturing, enthusiastic approach to teaching and child development

• Ability to work well as part of a small, close-knit team

• Commitment to fostering a positive school culture and learning environment

• Must be available to work Wednesday to Friday, from after Easter through to July 2025

• 1-form entry school with a strong focus on community and individualised learning

• Rated 'Good' by Ofsted
