Class 2 Driver

Shifts: Rotating shifts, including weekend working. 

• AM Shift - 01:00am - 04:00am start.
• PM Shift - 14:00pm - 18:00pm start.

Pay Rate: Paying £16.63 an hour (minium of 12 hours paid per shift) 

People Solutions are currently recruiting for a Class 2 Driver to join our well-established client based in Severn Beach to work rotating shifts. This is a fantastic opportunity great rates of pay and room to grow and progress.

Day to day duties:

• Driving Class 2 vehicles safely and efficiently
• Complete 6-7 delivieries to various stores actoss the UK daily 
• Ensure all loads are maintained at the correct temperatures throughout the journey
• Safely unload cages using a tail lift and and deliver them into stores.
• Take photos to document successful deliveries 

Essential skills:

• At least 12 months experience as a Class 2 Driver
• Must hold a valid UK Category C Driving licence
• Must hold a valid CPC and Digitial Tachograph
• No more than 6 points for minor offences (no DR10,DG10,IN10 or TT99)
• No major endorsments
• Strong customer seervice skills

Desierable experience:

• Familiarity with cage and temperature controlled deliveries

Training:

• First day assessment followed by two weeks of training alongside a permanment staff member
