CLASS 2 DRIVER

Shift: MONDAY TO FRIDAY - START TIMES: 05:00 - 06:00

Pat Rate: £18.54 – 26.54ph

Rates of Pay:

• Days 06:00 – 22:00 - £18.54ph
• Unsociable 22:00-06:00 - £21.43ph
• Overtime Rate 42 Hours+ - £26.54ph

Day to Day Duties:

Your duties as a Class 2 Driver will involve but not be limited to:

• Multi drop delivery of cages to Hospitals.
• Loading & Unloading of roller cages.
• Operate and drive various Class 2 vehicles in a safe and efficient manner to and from delivery locations
• Adhere to traffic laws and regulations
• Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers
• Report any vehicle defects or maintenance needs to management
• Ensure that all loads are safe and secure

Essential Skills:

As a Class 2 Driver you will need to:

• Hold a valid UK Category Cat C / Class 2 Driving Licence
• 12 Months Class 2 driving experience
• No more than six penalty points for minor infringements and no major endorsement codes
• Have a valid CPC Card and UK Digi Card
• Must be able to speak and read a good level of English

Desirable Experience:

• Previous commercial driving experience.

Training:

• Industry related training and ongoing support throughout
