Vacancy: Claims Center Software Engineer

Employment: Full time permanent

Salary: £60,000 - £65,000 DOE

Location: London

We're looking to recruit for a Claims Center Software Engineer here in London to join our Guidewire ClaimCenter development team! The aim for this role will be to maintain and develop the Guidewire platform to the requirements of the department whilst maintaining compliance with regulatory standards.

We're looking for someone who has previous experience within the London Market and must have Claims Center experience as this is essential for this role.

This is a unique opportunity to not only be a part of a new team, but help to shape it as we move forward.

What you'll be doing:

In this role, you will:

• Customise Claim Center, writing code to add features
• Troubleshoot, diagnosing and fixing technical issues
• Monitor the Claims Center platform for alerts, error analysis and downtime
• Gather requirements, working with clients to understand business needs
• Design solutions, translating business needs into functional specifications and design documents
• Take ownership to investigate and resolve service functionality related issues where necessary

Our must haves:

Previous experience in:

• Guidewire development experience (ClaimCenter preferred)
• Coding RESTful APIs
• Coding in multiple programming languages such as C#, Java, Python, etc.
• Relational databases and SQL (MS SQL server & Transact SQL proficiency preferred)
• DevOps, CI/CD, Test automation and Cloud development
• Experience gained in insurance claims or insurance claims related business
