This includes assessing policy coverage, investigating, evaluating, and negotiating claims, as well as collaborating with suppliers and stakeholders while offering technical support. Claims Adjuster - International PropertyLondon/HybridThe OpportunityWorking in our Complex claims team, you will be responsible for efficiently handling a dedicated case load of open market International Property claims with primary focus on North America. Your new role:
- Support the implementation of the Claims strategy to enable the delivery of overall business targets.
- Maintain current knowledge of insurance guidelines, policy changes, and modifications.
- Maintain good client relationships with insured individuals, agents, service providers, and the general public.
- Provide claim management for International Property claims.
- Respond to client requests following service standards.
- Assist with the negotiation of claims settlements.
- Participate in relevant meetings to share and develop strategy, knowledge, and best practices.
- Mentor and coach junior staff as required.
About you - Have experience of handling complex international property claims
- Developed investigation and negotiation skills
- Relationship management skills
- Ability to work on own initiative
- Effective workload organisation skills, with the ability to work under pressure,
- Comfortable with manipulating data and producing reports with ability to use MS Office applications and ECF
- A team player
