Civil Litigation Solicitor - Senior Associate - Taylor Hawkes Ltd : Job Details

We are looking to appoint a solicitor with 6+ years PQE in Civil Litigation to join our thriving and well-respected Litigation Department.

Role

• To cover a wide range of litigious matters to include: commercial disputes, professional negligence, contentious probate, property and contract disputes (in both the County and High Courts)
• Experience of construction disputes would be desirable but not essential
• Either knowledgeable about estate agency law or willing to learn
• To work as a senior member within the existing team (with secretarial support). Willing to act as a team player, sharing knowledge and providing guidance to other members of the team
• Own client following would be a bonus
• Commitment to bringing in new work and cross-referring to other departments

Person

• A first-class litigator and experienced, qualified solicitor
• Organised, efficient and computer literate
• A desire for personal and professional development
• Able to communicate well with clients, colleagues and support staff
• Ambitious, enthusiastic and energetic - ready to play a key role in the growth and success of the Litigation Department and the firm
• Personable and hard-working with a good billing history
