Our Client, Bolton Council is seeking a Children’s Team Manager to join their Family Help Team.

Responsibilities of this role:
- Provide strong leadership and management to a team of social workers and family practitioners delivering early help and targeted support to children and families.
- Oversee the allocation and progression of cases, ensuring timely assessments, effective interventions, and high-quality outcomes.
- Ensure compliance with statutory responsibilities, safeguarding procedures, and local authority policies, including oversight of risk assessments and safety planning.
- Support staff development through regular supervision, performance management, reflective practice, and identifying training needs.
- Promote a culture of continuous improvement, learning, and innovation within the team.
- Lead and contribute to multi-agency planning and strategy meetings, ensuring coordinated and child-centred responses.
- Monitor and report on team performance, using data and quality assurance tools to drive service improvement.
- Champion the voice of the child and family, ensuring their views inform planning and service delivery.
- Work collaboratively with internal and external partners, including education, health, and voluntary sector services, to strengthen family resilience and prevent escalation to statutory intervention.
- Contribute to service planning and development, supporting the implementation of new initiatives and best practice models.
Requirements of this role:
- Must be a Qualified Social Worker, registered with Social Work England.
- Must have minimum of 3 year's experience working as a Qualified social worker
