We’re looking for a compassionate and proactive Intervention Worker – Children with Disabilities to join our team in Tameside. This role is all about supporting families, improving access to services, and helping children thrive through early help, emotional support, and inclusive care planning.

Key Responsibilities
- Visit families to understand their needs and challenges
- Carry out early help assessments and create tailored support plans
- Provide emotional support and practical advice to children and parents
- Help families access healthcare, education, and social services
- Work closely with schools, health professionals, and other agencies
- Respond to safeguarding concerns and follow safety procedures
- Promote equality, inclusion, and positive outcomes for all children
- Maintain accurate records and contribute to service development
- Take part in training and continuous improvement
What We’re Looking For
A caring, motivated individual with:
- Experience working with children or families (preferred)
- Knowledge of safeguarding, disability, and inclusive practices
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Ability to work independently and manage caseloads
- Basic IT skills for record-keeping
Qualifications & Requirements
- GCSEs in Maths and English
- Full UK driving licence
- Enhanced DBS check (required)
