Children's Solicitor - Sacco Mann : Job Details

Sacco Mann is seeking to recruit a dedicated Childcare Solicitor to join a busy and respected Childcare Department in Heanor, Derbyshire. This full-time, permanent role is primarily office-based, involving a wide range of children’s care work including Case Protection Conferences, Court Advocacy, and making PLO attendances on behalf of parents and grandparents across Derbyshire. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to contribute to a well-established team with potential for partnership in the future.

The role is available to candidates with a minimum of 3+ years PQE; however, applications from individuals with 2+ years PQE who demonstrate relevant experience through training contracts or paralegal work and show ambition will also be considered. Candidates with Children Panel Accreditation will have an advantage. A personal assistant supports the team with diary management and administrative tasks, ensuring efficiency and effective case handling. 

• Minimum of 3 years PQE in childcare law; applications from candidates with 2+ years PQE, relevant experience, and enthusiasm considered
• Experience in all aspects of childcare proceedings, including Case Protection Conferences, PLO attendances, and Court Advocacy
• Children Panel Accreditation is desirable but not essential
• Ambition to develop within a broad, dynamic practice leading to partnership opportunities
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team in a busy setting
• Full-time, office-based role
