Academics are seeking an experienced Chef Manager to join a busy School Kitchen in the Gravesend area. This is an exciting opportunity to make a real difference by delivering nutritious, high-quality meals to pupils and staff.

Key Details:

• Location: Dartford, Kent

• Pay Rate: £15.00 per hour (agency position)

• Start Date: Immediate

• Requirements: Must hold a current Enhanced DBS

Responsibilities:

• Oversee the day-to-day running of the school kitchen

• Manage and motivate the catering team

• Plan, prepare and serve healthy and balanced meals

• Ensure compliance with food safety, hygiene, and allergen regulations

• Manage stock, budgets, and supplier orders

Requirements:

• Previous experience as a Chef Manager or similar role in a school or catering environment

• Strong leadership and organisational skills

• Knowledge of dietary requirements and allergen management

• Enhanced DBS (essential)

• Up to date Safeguarding Training
