Chef - Churchill Catering, VertasBedgebury Pinetum & National Forest Cafe 30 hours a week, 2 weekdays and weekend£16 per hour/ FTE £31,200KAbout us:Churchill Catering is part of the larger Vertas Group. The Role: We have an amazing opportunity for a new Chef to join us at the warm Bedgebury Cafe. You will be working with a warm team to run the cafe.

The main duties to include:

• Organising and managing the busy catering operation ensuring a successful and efficient service is provided
• You will prepare, and present food to the highest quality
• Working alongside the manager for stock management
• Serve hot and cold food to the visiting customers
• Identifying customer requirements with allergies
• Ensure all legislation and procedures are adhered to
• Light kitchen duties, washing dishes and cleaning

What exactly are we looking for?

• Experience in a kitchen environment required
• An enthusiastic and friendly individual who enjoys working as part of a team
• Excellent people skills with the team and customers
• A willingness to learn new skills
• A passion for catering in a busy environment
• 5 out of 7 days to include weekends and bank holidays
