Job Title: Chef de PartieLocation: Northampton Hours: Monday to Friday, 13:30 – 22:00 (Some weekends may be required)Job Type: Full-time, OngoingAbout the Role:We are looking for a reliable and motivated Chef de Partie to join the kitchen team at our busy kitchen in Northampton. This is a great opportunity for a chef who enjoys preparing high-quality dishes in a structured and professional environment, with a consistent shift pattern and work-life balance.You will be responsible for managing your section of the kitchen, ensuring food is prepared and presented to a high standard for conferences, events, corporate functions, and daily service.Key Responsibilities:Prepare and present dishes for a variety of services including conferences, buffets, plated meals, and staff cateringMaintain a high standard of food preparation and hygiene across your sectionWork closely with the Head Chef and Sous Chef to support smooth kitchen operationsEnsure that food is prepared in accordance with dietary requirements and client specificationsSupport junior staff and maintain a clean, safe, and efficient work environmentAssist with stock control, ordering, and kitchen documentation where requiredRequirements:Proven experience as a Chef de PartieExperience in volume catering, banqueting, or events is highly desirableUnderstanding of food safety, allergen management, and HACCP proceduresAbility to work under pressure and meet deadlines in a busy kitchen environmentTeam-oriented with good communication and organisational skillsFlexibility to occasionally work weekends for larger functions or eventsWhat We Offer:Competitive salaryStable afternoon/evening shifts (13:30–22:00)Minimal weekend work (only during key events)A supportive and professional working environment within a reputable venue
