This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who thrives in a fast-paced kitchen and takes pride in preparing delicious, traditional pub food.You will be responsible for managing the kitchen during your shifts, preparing and cooking dishes to a high standard, maintaining cleanliness and hygiene, and ensuring smooth service during both lunch and dinner periods.Key ResponsibilitiesPrepare and cook a range of classic pub dishes to orderMaintain high standards of food quality, presentation, and hygieneManage kitchen prep before service and clean-down afterWork efficiently during busy lunch and evening serviceEnsure compliance with all food safety and health regulationsAssist in menu planning, stock control, and supplier orders if requiredRequirementsProven experience as a Chef in a pub or similar kitchen environmentConfidence in running a kitchen independently during serviceGood communication and time management skillsUp-to-date Food Hygiene and Health & Safety certification (preferred)Ability to work the specified Monday to Friday split shift patternBenefits£21 per hour (including holiday pay)Supportive working environmentOpportunity to contribute to menu development
