Under the guidance of the head chef or senior chef, your role involves preparing high-quality dishes that satisfy and delight guests. Responsibilities

• Maintain standards for food storage, rotation, quality, and appearance.
• Ensure full compliance with applicable health codes and regulations.
• Preparation of ingredients.
• Learn recipes and methodologies and be able to implement to a high standard.
• Learn, apply and master the skills of the relevant station(s).
• Ensure food quality and taste is of the highest standard.
• Work at pace efficiently and effectively with the rest of the team.
• Cleaning of equipment, storage, and work areas.
• Multitask and maintain calm when working under pressure.

Requirements

• At least 1 year experience in similar roles & references in a busy restaurant.
• Excellent working knowledge of classic and modern cooking techniques.
• A passion for food is a must an interest in sustainability desirable.
• Availability including evenings and weekends.
• Effective communication, teamwork & organizational skills.
• Positive, can-do attitude, hands-on approach, with a willingness to learn and ability to work well under pressure.

• A competitive salary and tips paid weekly (£26k - £29k depending on experience)
• Shift pattern of 4 out of 7 days.
