I am looking for an experienced chef de partie to join a busy day time only restaurant serving all fresh home baked/made menus near Bedford.

A massive bonus is that you will work straight day time shifts only - no evenings ever!

IT IS ESSENTIAL THAT YOU HAVE YOUR OWN TRANSPORT FOR THIS POSITION.

The Chef de Partie we are looking for will have a fast paced background with experience gained in high volume restaurants, hotels, pubs or contract catering operations.

It will suit someone looking for a great work life balance and a lovely company and bunch of people to work for.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Prepare and cook the all fresh regularly changing company menu
• Work alongside and deputise for the senior chefs
• Maintain high standards, compliance and company systems & procedures
• Order and control stock
• Control wastage
• Work closely with the FOH team

KEY EXPERIENCE AND ATTRIBUTES

• Experience as a chef de partie in busy high volume restaurants, pubs, hotels, contract catering operations etc
• A hands-on approach and a very keen eye for detail
• A good understanding of legislation & compliance
• A positive and outgoing personality and outlook
• IT literate - working with systems & process
