Driver job in Central London

We are recruiting for an experienced, full time, proactive and good-humoured driver to support the principal.

Duties will include:

• Driving the principal, and occasionally members of his family, to any business meetings, events, appointments and social engagements;
• Airport runs during weekdays (including early mornings / late evenings) and, occasionally, at weekends;
• Maintenance of two cars, ensuring that they are always well maintained, clean, roadworthy and with charge / fuel, MOTs are up to date;
• Potentially driving once or twice a year abroad, including overnight stays;
• When not driving, assisting with various tasks, such as covering Reception lunch hour, light office / household maintenance, purchases, deliveries, researching items and ad hoc requests;

Qualifications/skills and other requirements:

• A valid UK clean driving license and impeccable driving record;
• No criminal record, can provide basic level DBS Check certificate;
• Flexibility;
• Fluent English, have good communication skills;
• Smart and presentable appearance;
• Excellent time keeping skills, professional attitude, trustworthy;
• Responsible, dependable, polite, honest and punctual;
• Maintain a high level of professionalism and discretion at alltimes;
• Live in London, preferably North London;
• Familiar with driving in London;
• 5 years or above driving experience, previous family driver or company driver is preferred;
• Must hold a valid visa to work in the UK if not a UK citizen.
• Working hours: 9:00 - 17:30, plus full availability for early morning and late evening airport runs and ad hoc requests;

Start date: around 20th May 2024.
