Market leading brand require a Procurement Category Manager to lead procurement activity across HR and FM spend areas. Applicants need indirect or services procurement experience, a positive demeanor and excellent stakeholder engagement skills.

An exciting end-to-end procurement opportunity, the Category Manager will be responsible for leading sourcing/tendering, contracts management and supplier relationship management. The focus will be on HR (recruitment, training, remuneration, internal communications, events) and FM (property, soft facilities services), however previous experience with these categories will not be required, a generalist indirect procurement background would work well. Working within a small and high-performing team, the Category Manager will seek to optimise procurement efficiencies, mitigate risk, contribute to savings targets and engage effectively with stakeholders.

Category Manager applicants should meet the following criteria:

  • Stakeholder engagement to understand required scope of category sourcing and supplier management strategies
  • Front-end procurement work; supply market intelligence keeping abreast of the HR and FM supplier landscape, sourcing and running tenders cradle-to-grave
  • Supplier Relationship Management - driving improved performance, innovation, collaboration and rationalisation
  • Contracts Management via contract lifecycle process, including contract review, negotiation and renewals
  • Support broader procurement management initiatives around supplier rationalisation, supply chain risk and operational resilience

Category Manager applicants should meet the following criteria:

  • Indirect or Services Procurement expertise - HR, FM, Corporate Services, Business Services, IT, Marketing etc.
  • Ability to develop and implement category, sourcing and supplier relationship strategies
  • Ability to contribute to procurement savings and supplier rationalisation targets
  • Full lifecycle procurement expertise - tendering, negotiations, contracts management (review and negotiation) and SRM
  • A positive, proactive, outgoing relationship builder who can foster collaborative stakeholder relations.

Salary : 45000 - 55000
