Title: Category Manager - BuyingSalary: Up to £65K DOELocation: London Work Pattern: Hybrid / 2 days in office - 3 days WFH

We're working with a fast-growing food business on a mission to do things differently. They're tackling food waste head-on by partnering with UK growers and getting food into the hands of consumers in smarter, more sustainable ways. And now, they're looking for a Category Manager to help make a difference and drive the next stage of growth.

Role responsibilities:

• Take ownership of category reviews, promotional performance and range analysis, delivering actionable insight that shapes strategy.
• Use data (Nielsen, Kantar, IRI, retailer systems) to build compelling stories that land with major UK retailers.
• Partner with Sales, Marketing and NPD to shape innovation pipelines and support sell-in.
• Present confidently to retail partners, championing the category and identifying growth opportunities.
• Play a key part in building a values-led brand with sustainability at its core.

Candidate criteria:

• A proven Category Manager (or strong Exec ready to step up) with Fresh Produce experience. Ideally 3+ years.
• Strong with data but just as strong in front of customers - articulate, commercial, and able to influence.
• Collaborative by nature, confident presenting, and motivated by working in a purpose-led, fast-paced environment.
