Job Advert: Temporary Receptionist for Solicitors

Working Pattern: Full Time (9am - 5pm)

Are you a friendly and professional individual with a knack for multitasking? We are seeking a temporary Receptionist to join a busy solicitors' office to cover holiday leave. This is an excellent opportunity to gain experience in a legal environment while providing essential support to our team.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage a busy switchboard, directing calls to the appropriate departments and ensuring all inquiries are handled efficiently.
• Greet clients and visitors warmly, providing a professional first impression of our firm.
• Handle incoming and outgoing mail, ensuring timely distribution.
• Assist with general administrative tasks as needed, including filing and data entry.
• Maintain a tidy and organised reception area.
• Support legal teams with scheduling appointments and managing calendars.

What We're Looking For:

• Previous experience as a receptionist or in a similar administrative role, preferably within a legal or professional services environment.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with a strong customer service orientation.
• Ability to work under pressure in a busy environment while maintaining attention to detail.
• Proficient in using standard office software and phone systems.
• A proactive approach with the ability to anticipate needs and address them promptly.
• Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
