About the Role:
Westminster Council is seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Casework Support Officer to join our team on a temporary basis. You will play a key role in providing efficient and effective support to casework operations, ensuring that enquiries, correspondence, and service requests are handled promptly and professionally.
Key Responsibilities:
Manage and respond to casework enquiries from residents, councillors, and stakeholders.
Accurately log, track, and update cases on internal systems.
Liaise with internal teams and external partners to gather information and resolve issues.
Draft clear and concise written responses and correspondence.
Maintain accurate records and ensure confidentiality is upheld at all times.
Support the wider team in delivering high-quality, customer-focused services.
Skills & Experience Required:
Previous experience in a casework, administrative, or customer service role.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Excellent organisational skills with the ability to prioritise competing demands.
Attention to detail and a methodical approach to work.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office and ability to learn new IT systems quickly.
Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team.
Additional Information:
This is a hybrid role with the exact split between office and remote working to be agreed at interview.
The assignment is for an initial period of 3+ months, with potential for extension depending on performance and service needs.
Pay is £23 per hour, paid via an umbrella company.
