Bridging Finance Case Manager

Mayfair, London

Salary: £35-45k

Hybrid (3 days in office, 2 days wfh)

The role:

This role marks a debut within a recently established boutique bridging lender very well equity backed by a very successful real estate group. They seek a versatile individual to provide comprehensive support across the business. The ideal candidate must embrace and recognise that Credit, Risk, Sales, and Support functions are all parts of this exciting opportunity.

Key Responsibilities:

- Assist the Head of Lending Operations with the management of bridging and development finance applications from initial submission to completion.- Act as a point of contact for borrowers, brokers, third party professionals and internal stakeholders throughout the application process.- Liaise with valuers to ensure timely completion of property valuations and address any queries or issues that may arise.- Liaise with project monitors to ensure timely completion of project monitoring reports and address any queries or issues that may arise.- Work closely with the credit risk team to assess and mitigate lending risks, conducting thorough due diligence on applicants and properties.- Assist the Head of Lending Operations with the preparation of Credit Papers and supporting documentation.- Coordinate with solicitors and other third-party service providers to facilitate the legal and administrative aspects of loan transactions.- Monitor, track and progress live applications, ensuring that all required documentation and information are obtained and reviewed promptly.- Provide regular updates to clients and stakeholders on the status of their applications, addressing any concerns or queries in a professional and timely manner.- Assist the Head of Lending Operations managing and developing key broker relationships.- Ensure compliance with relevant regulatory requirements and company policies throughout the lending process.- Assist the Head of Lending Operations and CEO with key presentations on future debt and equity fundraising

Requirements:

- Proven experience in a similar role within the financial services industry, with specific experience in bridging or Property Finance Lending.

- Strong understanding of property finance and lending processes, including knowledge of valuation methodologies, credit risk assessment, and legal requirements.

- Strong Microsoft office skills especially powerpoint, word and excel

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships with clients, brokers, and internal stakeholders.

- Highly organized and detail-oriented, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.

- Sound analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to assess complex lending scenarios and make informed decisions.
