This role has a starting salary of £27,897 per annum, based on a 36-hour working week.

We are excited to be hiring a Graded Care Profile 2 (GCP2) Co-ordinator to join our fantastic Practice Development team!

The team is based across the county and the role will entail hybrid working which is working remotely and working from any of the Council's offices.

This is a 12-month fixed term contract/ secondment opportunity

About the team

The Practice Development team is based in Surrey's Family Resilience and Safeguarding service. We work with both practitioners from within Directorate and also with from our partner agencies to support with the development of good practice.

About the role

We are now recruiting a Graded Care Profile 2 Co-ordinator to support the recording of the GCP2 within Surrey. GCP2 is an assessment tool that helps practitioners take a strengths-based approach to measuring the quality of care a child is receiving and supports them to identify areas of neglectful care and what areas need to improve.

GCP2 can be completed by any professional working with a family and in Surrey we record this on ECiNs. In this role you will work with Social Workers and other professionals to ensure that completed GCP2s are recorded on ECiNs in a timely way. This will include reviewing the GCP2 inbox and recording the completed GCP2s onto ECiNs. You will become a super user in ECINs.

Shortlisting Criteria

To be considered for shortlisting for this position, your application will clearly evidence the following:

  • Competent in using a range of IT tools including databases, LCS, Wisdom and MS Office
  • Ability to build relationships and explain processes in simple terms to support colleagues in recording GCP2 on ECiNs
  • Ability to plan and prioritise work effectively and monitor when GCP2 reviews are due and prompt workers to ensure completion
