Care Assistant Supervisor Location: Basingstoke

£25.000 to £28,950 PA 

Hours: Office full-time hours Monday - Friday 8.30 am -5.00 pm with on-call duties of 1 in 4 weekends on average

Responsibilities

As a care assistant supervisor,your key responsibilities will include:

Support the care manager with:

  • The efficient running of a designated area and the supervision of care assistants;
  • Ensuring that Bluebird Care provides safe, effective, high quality care that is responds to each customer’s needs and preferences; and
  • Ensuring that our services respect customers’ choices and promotes their dignity and privacy at all times. 
  • Leading team meetings and carrying out inductions, supervisions and appraisals
  • Working in partnership with other health and social care professionals to ensure customers get the support they need.
  • Managing the activities of all care experts support professional/s and care mentors in accordance with Bluebird Care’s standards

Requirements

  • You must be caring and compassionate towards people in need of care and support and those providing these services
  • You must be a driver with your own car the role needs to complete Direct observations out in the field
  • Provide excellent customer service with a smile, being supportive and calm, you’ll be highly organised and enjoy communicating with your colleagues and customers.
  • You must have at least 2 years of experience working in healtyh & Social Care and be willing to gain an NVQ3
  • Show initiative and complete agreed actions, working as part of our team to achieve business outcomes together
  • Must have the Right To Work in the UK and not require sponsorship in any way
  • Be an ambassador for Bluebird Care and always align with our vision to always make our customers smile by creating a respectful environment where outstanding care professionals feel valued and are supported to deliver outstanding care
