Care Assistant – Residential Care Home - Full-time - Part-time - Min. 24 hours per week.

We are looking for experienced, capable, friendly carers to work in a beautiful setting, part of a family-run group of care homes who are committed to high quality, compassionate care

Starting rate is £12.90ph.

Supportive environment with excellent learning and development opportunities.

Care experience or Social Care qualifications are desirable for this role, especially experience working with older people. A good level of English will be required. You’ll also need to be comfortable providing personal care. What we really need are capable and friendly people who can build a rapport with residents and maintain the high levels of care of this Residential Care Home.

Care Assistant Responsibilities:

• Ensure that service users are at the heart of care delivery and their wishes and preferences are taken into consideration to enhance their wellbeing
• Support service users to maintain their relationships and connections with the local community
• Ensure care plans and other information about how to support service users are followed
• Be responsible for informing the Senior Care Assistant/Nurse of any changes in the needs of service users
• Be responsible for promoting and safeguarding the welfare of those individuals they support
• Develop effective working relationships with other employees within the service
• Work in cooperation with members of the multidisciplinary teams to maximise opportunities for service users
• If desired by the service user, maintain and develop relationships with their family, friends and other people important in their life
