• act as a subject matter expert to deliver information and guidance on complex capital modelling issues across teams
• play a key role in knowledge-sharing and development of best practice
• be instrumental in driving the capital approval process through peer review of technical papers and support for senior management in all oversight activities

What will I need?

To be successful in the role, you will possess an in-depth knowledge of non-life capital modelling techniques, including:

• model validation;
• parameterisation; and
• scenario testing, ideally within the Lloyd’s or London Market context.

In addition, you will:

• be a confident decision maker
• be a positive, supportive, people-led manager and mentor
• have an interest in and knowledge of analytical and technical tools
• be familiar with actuarial modelling platforms (e.g., Igloo, ReMetrica, Tyche) and data analysis tools used in capital modelling.
