CAD Technician (Furniture/Cabinetry)

£35,000 - £45,000 + Progression + Training + Overtime + Pension

In this role, you will be responsible for creating/producing detailed, technical drawings adhering to customer specification and industry regulations whilst still meeting functional requirements. You will be involved in the entire process from start to finish, making any changes to drawings necessary throughout the manufacturing process as well as keeping accurate technical documentation. Finally, you will also be responsible for interdepartmental liaison - specifically with the manufacturing team.

The ideal CAD Technician will have a background within the Furniture/Carpentry/Joinery Industry or similar. You will also have prior experience within a CAD Technician/Draughtperson/Designer role. Ideally, you will also have a general knowledge of 'Cabinet Vision' software.

The Role:

• Producing detailed drawings
• Keep accurate technical documentation
• Interdepartmental liaison

The Person:

• Previous experience in a CAD Technician/Draughtsperson/Designer role or similar
• Background in the Joinery/Carpentry/furniture industry
