Job Title: Designer - Architectural Metalwork & Structural Steelwork Specialist

Location: Rochester, Kent

Salary: £45,000 - £50,000 per annum

About Us: We are an established Architectural Metalwork & Structural Steelwork specialist located in Rochester, Kent. We are currently seeking a Detailer to join our team with an excellent starting salary and opportunities for career progression. The position is based in our new office within the company facility.

Role Responsibilities:

  • Producing General Arrangement (GA) drawings in both 2D & 3D formats.
  • Creating detailing & fabrication drawings.
  • Collaborating with structural engineers and architects.
  • Conducting occasional site visits for measurements and customer interactions.

Candidate Requirements:

  • Proficient in Advanced Steel (Autodesk).
  • Minimum of 5 years' experience in Structural Steelwork and Architectural Metalwork, including balconies, canopies, and balustrade systems.
  • Demonstrated understanding of the work being produced.
  • Ability to issue drawings, material lists, cutting lists, and component lists.
  • Experience in logging revisions on design trackers.
  • Ability to inform the design manager/commercial team of design variations.
  • Strong general IT skills.
  • Excellent customer service skills.
