Here is a great opportunity for a CAD/Design Engineer to work in the motorsport industry supporting projects for blue-chip clients.

You will be involved in all aspects of the design and engineering of products and join a close-knit team to innovate new and improve existing products. This is a new and exciting position working full-time Monday to Friday with lots of development prospects.

The company are a leading design and manufacturer within the motor sports and defence sector offering solutions to recognised industry experts across the world. Their aim is to ensure products they manufacture offer protection and safety to the elements around them.

The role involves you producing detailed engineering drawings and 3D models in AutoCAD/SolidWorks and meeting design requirements aligned to project specifications with a good understanding of the engineering involved to take to production. Provide support to the wider design team on new products and technologies for existing product improvements. No day will be the same with various tasks involved.

The Role:

* CAD/Design Engineer

* Produce detailed engineering drawings

* Product development process from concept, through prototyping, testing and validation

* Build procedures for production, analysis and resolution

Candidate Requirements:

* Engineering degree in Engineering/Design or Similar

* CAD Software (Autodesk, SolidWorks or other CAD drawing packages.)

* Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD) experience desirable
